This week I really wanted to challenge myself to use a darker colour palette. I use bright or pastel colours 99.999% of the time when drawing, so I decided to pick this muted palette of dark greens, greys and browns to draw Wild World style Tortimer.
It’s definitely not my favourite drawing that I’ve ever done, but I think I did this old-timer justice. I’ll probably try and draw him again in a couple of months time (in bright colours probably!) to see if I can improve on how I drew his shell.
